The Partridge Household was an American musical sitcom starring Shirley Jones and that includes David Cassidy. Jones performs a widowed mom, and Cassidy performs the oldest of her 5 youngsters, in a household who embarks on a music profession. It ran from September 25, 1970, till August 24, 1974 as a part of a Friday-night lineup, and had subsequent runs in syndication. The household was loosely primarily based on the real-life musical household the Cowsills, a well-liked band within the late Sixties and early Seventies.
